Frontend Developer
Accessible, responsive implementation of designs that have to work for everyone — on real projects, at real sizes.
The work
You turn designs into the thing people actually use. Most of our frontends live inside a CMS, which means your markup has to survive editors, translations and content nobody designed for — a heading that runs to four lines, a table on a phone, a component reused somewhere it was never meant to go.
Accessibility is not a checklist at the end here. It is part of how the component gets built, and it is one of the reasons clients come back.
What you bring
- Strong sitebuild experience. HTML and CSS as a craft: semantics, layout that holds under real content, CSS that a colleague can extend six months later.
- Accessibility as a core skill — WCAG in practice, keyboard and screen-reader testing, and the judgement to know when an ARIA attribute is the wrong fix.
- Responsive implementation that goes beyond breakpoints: fluid type, container queries, and testing on devices rather than in a simulator.
- Modern frontend architecture and a build you understand — Vite, webpack or similar — including what happens to your assets on the way to production.
- Enough JavaScript to build interactive components without reaching for a framework by reflex.
- Good communication, and very good spoken and written English.
Nice to have
Experience inside TYPO3, Kirby or another CMS templating layer; Vue for panel and admin work; performance work with Core Web Vitals as the measure. German is a big plus for our DACH clients.
What you get
- Design systems you help shape, not tickets you fill in.
- Accessibility treated as engineering, with time budgeted for it.
- Colleagues who will argue with you about markup, and mean it kindly.
