The work

You build applications, not pages. Some of it sits behind a CMS, some of it replaces one: order flows, integrations with systems that were never designed to be integrated, internal tools that a department depends on every day.

Typical questions on a Tuesday: how do we get twelve years of data out of a legacy shop without losing it, how do we keep this API responsive when the client triples their catalogue, what does this domain actually mean when the spreadsheet says one thing and the database says another.

What you bring

  • At least five years of professional PHP, with a real application development background — not only site building.
  • Symfony 7 in production, or equivalent depth in Laravel. We care that you have carried a framework through a full project life cycle, not which logo is on it.
  • Databases you can reason about: schema design, query plans, migrations that survive real data.
  • The habit of learning a system fast — most projects start with somebody else's code.
  • Good communication, and very good spoken and written English. Our clients are agencies across Europe and you will talk to them directly.

Nice to have

Experience with any of Shopware, WordPress, TYPO3, Kirby, Pimcore or Drupal is a real advantage — our projects usually touch at least one of them, and knowing where a platform's limits are saves weeks.

German is a big plus: a good share of our clients are in the DACH region.

What you get

  • Projects that end, and colleagues who review your code because they care about it.
  • Time for the ecosystem — conferences, contributions, and writing about what you learn.
  • Your setup, your hours within reason, office in Budapest or Cluj if you want one.
