The starting point
Since 2019 we have been the TYPO3 team behind the DRK Kliniken website — a business-critical platform in healthcare, where reliability is non-negotiable. The project includes a custom extension for employees, developed precisely around the needs of the organisation.
From v9.5 upward — a path you can plan
The project started on TYPO3 9.5. Instead of risky jumps, we keep the platform current through regular updates; we are currently preparing the next major upgrade — planned, tested, no leap into the unknown. We maintain the custom extension over the years and bring it up to modern TYPO3 standards at every step.
Our approach
- Continuous maintenance, not firefighting: security updates and maintenance run continuously, not only when something breaks.
- Close collaboration: as the TYPO3 team we work closely with the agency Webfox (now Forte Digital Germany) and fill exactly the role the project needs.
- Responsibility in the background: support included — the agency stands in front of the client, we deliver the technology.
The result
The site was nominated for a TYPO3 Award and made the shortlist — proof of quality you can see. For more than five years the platform has run stable, current and secure, carried by a team that knows it.
